Hello 

Does the cable used to vonnect the gate conyrol unit need to be sheilded?   Total run from control unit to lock 15 meters.  Sorry to ask but have a unit usinh sheilded cable with outer sheild not grounded at any point. And looks like the original installer used what ever was available
